Bruce Whitis

Chief Executive Officer

Bruce Whitis has been actively engaged in the real estate development business for over 40 years as the founder and owner of the WBW Development Group and its construction and civil engineering affiliates. Over the course of his career, he has developed over 25,000 lots and more than 60 different residential subdivisions, cultivating decades long relationships with the largest National homebuilders and local builders alike.

He has also been engaged in numerous other successful business ventures throughout his career and developed a substantial portfolio of commercial properties throughout Central Texas. Bruce is a graduate of Texas A&M University where he studied Civil Engineering.

David Peter

David Peter is a Division Leader for WBW Development Group, managing land acquisition, entitlements, development and lot sales throughout Central and Southeast Texas. He has over 30 years of experience in real estate development across the U.S. including residential subdivisions, multi-family housing, retail outlet malls, and large urban mixed-use developments. He has broad experience in the application of municipal financing to development and was also involved in investing an office building acquisition fund that later went public in 2005.

Prior to joining WBW in early 2018, David served as President of two divisions with the Republic Family of Companies in Washington, DC and also led a Canadian investment and development group’s operations in Florida as its Regional COO. He is a graduate of George Washington University and the George Mason University Law School and has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 1997.

Mark Rizzetto

Mark is a Division Leader and Vice President for WBW Development Group. He manages the development process from acquisition, through engineering and construction, to the successful completion of projects. He has over 30 years of experience in all facets of real estate development across the U.S. including industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential construction. Before joining the WBW Development Group Mark worked as the COO of a construction management company, and most recently as the VP of Strategic Economic Development and Realty, managing a nationwide portfolio of diversified real estate assets for Crescent Electric Supply Co.

He has gained valuable experience in all aspects of land development including acquisitions, entitlements, and project management. Mark takes pride in providing quality solutions for developing communities and creating the opportunity for an improved quality of life. He holds a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, an M.B.A. in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and a Master’s Certification in Applied Project Management from Villanova University. Mark is a LEED Accredited Professional BC+D and a member of the Urban Land Institute Austin Texas Chapter.

Josh Welch

Vice President of Development

Josh Welch is the division Vice President for WBW Development for the Central Texas area covering Bell and Coryell counties. He manages the land acquisitions, municipal utility districts, project entitlements, budgeting and scheduling, as well as overall company scheduling and forecasting. Since joining WBW, Josh has overseen projects representing more than 8,000 residential lots, 90 acres of multifamily, and 50 acres of commercial development. Josh began his real estate career in 2013 with WBW Development.

He earned a BA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and completed the practicum titled “Residential Subdivision Development Costs: A Predictive Model”. Josh was a scholar-athlete, starting on the football team for 4 years and achieving Provost Honor Role and serving on multiple student leadership committees throughout his college years.

David Chellgren

David Chellgren leads WBW Construction which self-performs most construction activities to convert raw land into finished lots for sale to homebuilders throughout Central and Southeast Texas. David has over 15 years of construction, leadership, and project management experience. Prior to joining WBW Construction, he was President of a dredging, civil, and marine contractor with operations throughout the Caribbean. He was also Deputy Director with the Indiana Office of Management and Budget where he initiated and oversaw the $3.8 billion lease of the Indiana Toll Road, the largest transportation infrastructure privatization in US history at the time. He began his career in engineering and operations with Fortune 500 firms in the chemical industry.

David earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honors from Georgia Tech. He is a licensed general contractor in Florida.

Randon McKee

Vice President of Construction

Randon McKee leads the operations for WBW’s Construction division, which develops raw land throughout central Texas into finished lots for Regional and National Homebuilders. The WBW Construction team is responsible for the installation and construction of the civil infrastructure within the residential subdivisions. Randon has been practicing as a Professional Engineering for over 15 years in the area of land development in the design, entitlements, project management of development projects. Prior to joining WBW, he was an owner of a construction services company that built custom homes and custom remodeling projects.

He also served as a project manager with several engineering design firms developing commercial, industrial, multi-family and single-family projects in Texas and throughout the West. Randon earned an MBA from University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the Utah State University.

John Stanley

Chief Financial Officer – WBW Construction

John Stanley is the Chief Financial Officer for WBW Construction. He has over 24 years’ experience in accounting, finance and tax. Prior to joining WBW in mid-2019, John served as President and CEO for Riley Bros Construction, Inc. a civil construction company in Morris, Minnesota. He is a graduate of Ferris State University.

Jane Seals

Corporate Controller

Jane Seals manages the accounting and finance functions for the entire WBW enterprise and its affiliated holding companies, with responsibility for cash management, taxes, human resources and the accounting department for all divisions. She has over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management.

Prior to moving to the U.S., she worked in a CPA firm in Germany, where she earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, performing audit and tax preparation for client firms. She later worked as Controller of a major publicly traded communications and media company in Germany, where she introduced GAAP accounting and improved financial reporting. Prior to joining WBW in early 2007, Jane was the Controller and HR Manager for a Texas-based car dealership business.

Rosemary Calcese

Legal Compliance Officer

Rosemary Calcese is the Legal Compliance officer for WBW Development Group and its affiliates. She counsels the owner, managers, and corporate leaders on a wide variety of topics. She manages drafting and negotiation of contracts for professional services, construction, consulting services, access, engagement letters, brokerage services and purchase and sale agreements for commercial real estate transactions, primarily within the residential sector.

Ms. Calcese’s extensive experience includes the purchase and sale, development, management and leasing of raw land and improved assets, including commercial office buildings, industrial warehouses, and distribution centers, and multifamily housing throughout the U.S. Prior to joining WBW in 2018, Rosemary worked for an AM Top 200 Law Firm where she served several fortune 500 companies with their real estate and transactional needs. She attended Roger Williams University and the William Mitchell School of Law.
